Hi

I have just paid CAD28.75 for the neo-imaging software via paypal.

Do we need to always request for the registration code everytime we install/uninstall windows and neo imaging? I am using linux and windows on my workstation.

Can we remember the machine code that is generated by the software and then pair that with the registration code?

Okay. I now observed that the machine code is a permanent serial in the dialog box which cannot be deleted or changed.

This is good for preventing illegal and illegitimate use of the software and the serial code purchased.

BUT this is quite a nuisance to a legitimate user who is required to install/uninstall OS and associated software from time to time.

I am using windows running in virtualbox inside ubuntu. I am also using wine emulator, so it is not uncommon for me to remove windows software and then to reinstall them again later. So does that mean I have to request new serial codes from you all the time?

I am not a software pirate and have no intention of doing so, but would you still entertain me if I request for serial codes everynow and then?

Hi Joseph,

I appologgize not to reply you timely and thank you for your purchasing and your constructive message.
I believe by now you have already received the registration code which I sent to you on Feb 25.

The machine code is hardware and operating system related, I doubt you need a new code if a same windows is installed back and forth and no hardware change. As long as the machine code is unchanged, you don't need a new registration code. Same thing holds truth for uninstall/install nEO iMAGING.

I would howerver be very happy to supply new codes if you install different windows. So don't hesitate to ask even for additional pc in your household.

We have to figure out a better yet convinient way to control the piracy copy but before that we have to keep doing this way.
